You
your words calloused
lazy, unkempt
hostility constant
coldblooded
You
a smile ceaseless
but ever forged,
forever a sly
deception
You
your soul tenuous
spite abundant
inflicting my
misery
You
to me, a leaf
of plastic
synthetic, transparent
uncovered
I see you
I see right through you
you not you
but never shall I fathom
your cruelty

Hi Olivia, this poem was really well thought out and nicely structured, and so… true. Well Done! Maybe you could come check out my blog sometime? http://reneeroom10.blogspot.co.nz/

Hi Renee!
Thanks for a lovely comment, my friend! I totally agree with it being true, human beings, well, we sometimes don’t think of others the way we think of ourselves and are deceptive. I try to see through these people to help them to improve. Of course I will visit your blog! Thanks,
xx Olivia

This is an unfortunately accurate poem – the message to it being: haters gonna hate and you should just shake it off (if you get what I’m saying :)). You use really descriptive words and paint a great picture!

Unfortunately, yes. Such an inspirational message… I always knew T-Swift wouldn’t let us down. Incorporating her into my posts is essential.
