the gums were encased in an orange glaze, touched by the orange sun as the hazy day rolled to the edge of twilight, while the cockatoos called and the wind whispered its silvery tune.
australia is home.
this afternoon while the sun was setting, i looked up to see the canopy of our beautiful australian gum trees absolutely glowing in the orange sunlight, warm air and clear skies even in winter – and knew i had to share it! i didn’t have my phone on me at the time and couldn’t find a feature image that accurately captured it, so i’m leaving this one up to your imaginations 🙂 australia might not have traditionally ‘pretty’ native flora, but oh is an australian landscape beautiful!!
